no need to, FL reads them uncompressed as well

really, but after i uncompress the ini files, FL just jumped to windows. i do not know why

Yeah, i got the same problem, I know you have to add something to the TXT files after you decompress them, but what? They already say .ini after you decompress them.

Help me!

If FL is just jumping to windows after you load freelancer, that means that it can't find an ini file. Check to make sure that you didn't accidentally delete one or rename it incorrectly.
