Multiplayer mod idea

Here's the idea, there are 2 teams RED and BLUE, the object of the game is to tractor in a artifiact at the center of the map and bring it back to your base alive. You can choose any model ship you want but each ship will have the same attributes. Each ship will start with one primary weapon and shield class. You can upgrade your weapons by shooting crates randomly placed around the map and tractoring them in. Crates can contain any number of items such as Shield Upgrades, Nanobots, Mines, Torpedoes or Thrusters. Once a team has successfully retrieved the artifact to thier home base, a point is scored and the game is reset. If a player goes out of bounds with the artifact, the artifact will be immediatly transported back to its original position. Whoever has the most artifacts in thier base when time runs out is declared the winner.

So, One Flag Capture The Flag?

Two Flag would be fun too. But I don't think it should be system vs. System. It should be somewhere in an open system, so that the flying actually has to be done manually. Or a system that has few jumps, so that you can just grab it, and hit the trade lane. You have to grab it, out run, then a trade lane comes along.
