Mod Request: Pilotable ***** Ships? *SPOILER*

Is it possible to be able to code a mod that lets you fly the Nomad ships? They look extremely agile, the only bad thing is that they have no shields at all. I looked in the .ini files, but those are huge messes that I don't understand.

Yep fairly easy, i can keep the basic stats for the ship such as handling, hit points and add shield's or whatever else i want to it, or i could just change all the stats and balance it in line with the other fighter's.

Cool! Would you mind doing it, if it's not too hard, and make it buyable in Manhattan? Or explain how to do it? I think it should keep all its stats, but I'm not too sure about adding a LF shield if it would unblance it too much. Hmmm....

I'd do it now, but it's 2am here and im nearly falling off my chair, i'll just make to many silly error's.

Forgot that this thing has a clocking device, even if i added it to the ship there would be no way to engage it. So it will have a serious weakness.

There isn't anyway at all to enable the clocking device? :-(

that sux, i was looking forward to finding a cloacking device in the game.

Well i wouldn't give up hope there maybe a way, i just haven't found it

. You have to remmember there's alot of people scanning over the ini file's, someone's bound to find away sooner or later, only scratching the surface of what's possible.

Hey Knight, what are the abreveations for the nomads? I could easily do the mod. Just need the god damn abreveations!!! lol I've been looking for 2 days.

Isn't no the abreveation?
EXAMPLE

no_weapon , no_stealth, no_fighter
