Auto Pilot in Combat?

Any one know how to get that to work. so that u can make ship to automaticaly trying to follow any ship in combat.
(Like in formation flying)
This would be great to use with turrets.

i could swear they had that as part of the game but removed it.

if it is there i am sure someone will bump into it sooner or later
