scaleing down systems.

hi again, does anyone know a way to completely scale down a system (bring everything a bit closer together) by about 10%?

I guess you gotta scale down every position coordinate by 10% in the respective .ini?

Can't think of a faster and better way... Doesn't help if you only adjust the navmpascale... Tryed that myself!

Yup, you will need to manually move everything in the ini files.

if youre not in a hurry, im working on a script/tool which does exactly that.
not sure when i finish it but want to have it done soon,
i'd just like to build more options into it.

cool beans RimShot i've got a planet-scale-up mod that bumps up planet size by 200%+ and i could certainly use a tool like that also if it works perfectly, ie resizes everything but models/planets in the INI that needs to be, doesn't break anything, we could use it for building systems on microscale first, for ease of testing, and then scale them up when we need to - cool idea huh?

yea, thats what i need it for, a scaled up planets mod.
it reads a system file, modifies only relevant lines, and displays everything/writes new file.

options are for now:
global scale factor
global move x, y, z
recognize parent object yes/no
scale zones yes/no
scale lightsource range yes/no

more options planned:
scale cylindrical pathes radius yes/no
scale mission vignette zones yes/no
keep dockring/moor distances to planets yes/no

i have tested new york at 200% all looking good so far..
