Nomad Shields

I'm rather new to modding, but like what I've seen. But, what I haven't seen is a mod for a nomad ship to be able to mount a shield. Can anyone help me to either find one or help me make one?

Well... There Probably are some out there. I'm not very good with that kind of thing, but I know there are sounds for a Nomad Sheild in The FL Files.

Will be in my mod, Order Evolution.

That's nice. But I would like to make my own mod. But, hey, when your mod is done please tell me so I can download it.

The reason I want to make my own is that I need more modding experience. If anyone can help me make one, please tell.

Theres an alpha-version available for download on my website: netrisca.ohost.de. It hasn´t been implemented yet, but it will be in the nex version

First thing you need to do is add a shield hardpoint to a nomad ship. Once that's done, make it available for sale, update the original nomad ship entry in shiparch to incorporate a shield line, make a loadout and off you go.

Here you can download the 2nd Alpha of Order Evolution, which features a nomad shield. Please note that the Nomad fighter is not buyable (yet). I also increased the Nomad Fighters´ hitpoints by 1500.

Hey, thanks for the info. But could you be a little more specific on how to edit those files? I am about the best newbie you can find anywhere. I tried editing files a couple times, but messed something up because the instructions were rather vague.

Looking in the Tutorials forum just might be something to do if you wish to make your own mod without spending excessive amounts of time waiting for replies when things pop up during the process.
