Custom Menu screen?

I'm not entirely sure what the proper termonology is, but how do you edit the menu start screen...

If your confused in what i'm trying to ask, the background when you start the game up and there is the background at the screen where you select new game, load game, multiplayer, options, and exit...

The background movie thing there...

I know there's a program out there so you can custom make one, but i don't know what it's called, nor do i know the proper termonology of said movie files and such to find anything about them.

can someone please hlep me?

Oh how we wish there was one, all we have is the thn decompiler "Fled-Thorn" and notepad for editing them in. The menu screen uses THN's which are the same things that do cutscenes and all base internal views, the THN's use a LUA scripting language to tell FL what models, effects, animations etc. to use and where to use them.

ACCUSHOT did you ever get that program of yours to a testing stage (shouting works for some people, just hope it works here)

**shuffles off with a new headache**

All you need is decompile the THN file using FLED-Thorn, the a lot of patience and willpower ^^
THN editing is long and difficult, but you can do awesome things with it! (Look at the "THN Menu Screen Showcase" thread, by Ruppetthemuppet)
You could also take a look at bobthedog's tut, it explains quite well the basics of creating a title screen.
You can also find a very good tut at Universal Modding School Site, written by Ruppetthemuppet.

Good luck in your THN scripting, you'll need some 8D
