liberty cruiser- FL massive addon the only one that can get

yea i know most people dont care about this ship, but it happens to be my favorite ship in the entire game (including the mods ive seen so far). i was just wondering why every mod EXCEPT "FL massive addon" have not put in the cruiser forward gun on this ship. ex. (next generation and crossfire mods). it may be "powerful" but because it can only fire forward...it cant really be a "cheap" weapon. for some reason many people think it is... o.O. i like it because its useful for taking out stations for missions and because it looks awesome ........ post here if you feel the same way i do or if you have valid info to prove my wrong.

It's the perfect weapon of choice for taking out stations and planetary assaults....like blockades.

Well good news becuase I added the Liberty Cruiser to my mod with the forward gun just for that reason, to be able to take on battleships and other slow moving objects head on, I even beefed it up.
This goes with the other empires Cruisers/Gunboats with forward guns on them.
I wouldn't know why other mods wouldn't have it in becuase it sure is a cool weapon.

i totally agree...i wist freelancer crossfire would have it because ive worked hard to try to get that ship only to find out it has no forward gun T.T...

so whats your mod called anyway so i can download it?

Never played Crossfire but are you sure your not suppose to buy the forward gun somewhere, OP should be hanging around here something.

the forward gun does not hit very good but i dont like to put it into my mod coz it would totally unbalance the gameplay

i dont like that other battleships get blown up in 2 shots

Funny, no really, it is... next time, before you claim that every mod except one in particular hasn't done it, actually have the decency to not lie, and check out other mods :/

Although I agree with your point Chips, as my 88 Flak mod not only uses the forward guns but allows you to interchange them (let's not forget the Bretonia, Rheinland, and Kusari Forward Gun, eh? =P ), in Sona's defense the mod list on TLR is pretty h-u-g-e, and I doubt many mods mention the forward guns in particular. Besides, he said "post here if you feel the same way i do or if you have valid info to prove my wrong ." No need to mock him about it, really, but that's just my two cents as I'd rather suggest something to help.

Sona, try using TLR's search function to search for specific features of a mod. Although I haven't tried it myself, searching "forward gun" might fetch you something useful.

im sorry chips, i was just a little mad at the time i posted it .....

and swat.....how high did you put its damage man!??!?! .....you could just lower it a littls so it dosent kill bettleships so fast.....

Yes Forward Guns are strong on each house capital ships (Rheinland,Liberty ...) but it really wouldn't be nice to take out a strong battleship in just 2 shots.It doesn't make any sense.

they only destroyed a station in the story (and if your talking about outside the story...i can destroy a station just fine with gunz)...and there are lost of things in the story that dont make sence. like......the way thoes fighters took out that rhineland battleship with just TWO TORPEDOS!!!...or when that crazy guy scuisided and killed all thoes docked nomad battleships (!?!?)...and anyway...in te story there were THREE (3) cruisers firing on the station at the same time and it took them many hits to kill it. (i hope were talking about benford station right???) i think ive made my point clear!

in crossfire there are torpedos which can take out battleships easily with a few shots because of the storyline but they are limited in usage (no spamming) -> they are just tactical weapon
