New Open SP Mod

I am working on a new Open SP mod and here are the features. Would this be intersting to anyone and used if I release it to the community?

Anyway here it is.

Open Single Player Mod for Freelancer v1.0 - v1.1

Choose between 11 Factions
There will be one question, and that is
What starting faction would you like to belong to?
Then after you choose you will simply be told to Pick your faction here also! 2 more times.
What this Open SP mod does is
1. Lands you on one base of your faction.
2. Sets you to the same rep as the faction you choose.
3. Gives you a starting ship (Light Fighter) of that faction.
Starting money is 2500

can this be used in a MP mod or is it just SP?

That is one thing I do not know much about MP. Maybe someone can answer this as I only deal in SP. I have helped make several MP mods; I just don't know how MP works to be able to answer your question. MP part of the mods were handled by the server admins. I'm still learning, and if I can figure out how to make it work in MP I'll make one for MP or make this version MP also.

It should work in Multiplayer mode... Most if not all Mod's do.
When I had time to check Mod's for posting I usually just started a Multiplayer game just to make sure the Mod didn't crash Freelancer.

Since this first came out there has been over 3,300 D/L so I guess that I could make another version with more factions.

Now the only other Faction I see that is wanted is the Mollys. I will wait 2 weeks from now and if you would like a faction that is not in the mod please post here which one you would like added.

Is it possible to add all of the factions and leave space available for new factions?

All you have to do is add the new factions to the mod. If you want all Vanilla factions except nomads that can be done.

You should put all the factions in it. Also make it vhange your costume.

I would just like to make a suggestion that may make something really great, but what if we combined our mods (New Open SP Mod + Career Selection 1.2)? I was just thinking this since what you're doing is kind of what I was starting to plan for my next version.

No problem just add it in however you want all my stuff is open to use by the community if they like to use it. I want to see FL modding advance not be stalled by selfishness.

I personally (and professionally) believe that if we as a community on the whole could pool our total resources into creating even just 1 super mod for multiplayer, I think it could possibly rival that of the MMRPG's.
