Auto Pay

I was wondering b/c I am a horrible programmer is some1 knows of maybe a program that would automaticly pay a player money every day. The reason that I want this is b/c of the RP on my server/mod I would like police and other government employies to be able to recieve a paycheck everyday insted of just patrolling for pirates and being poor. I feel that this would hel rp IMMENSLY and that it would be kinda cool to have a server side mod that auto pays- ppl. If anyone know of that please tell me.

Simple, you could write a program that runs in the system tray or other such thing that checks the day every hour or so, and when a new day goes by would use a predetermined list (controlled by the user) to decode and add a specified amount to that player's money. The program would need to be restarted whenever it would be shut down.

A simpler version of the program could just be manually run every day.

the idea is good, but i can see ppl exploiting this by making one character just to use as a cash collecting character. maybe you could limit the amount of characters each player could have

There are a number of PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES (not programs, dang it!) availible. C/C++, C#, and VB. I use C/C++ and C# primarily, although i coded VB for a good 2 years to learn the basics.

As for the compiler/IDE, i use Visual Basic 2005 Professional. There are express (free) editions of the visual studio for C#, C++, J#, and VB, so you can use those if you have no money.
