Auto tractor loot

There's a certain bug/feature in Vanilla that won't allow to autotractor loot beyond 1000 m distance. To get loot from 1000-1500 m, you need to select it and tractor manually.

Is there any workaround for this, so that loot would auto tract at max loot distance (1500)? I didn't find anything in constants or any ini files related to tractors.

Tractor beam distance is in the EXE i beleive. But i dont know for the life of me what hex value it is ^^

Ask Dev, maybe he knows that. He has found out a lot about values in the exe-file

I have edited it in the ini's up to 4000m and it seems to work ok.

there isn't a fix for this in anything? surprising. I've never noticed it.

I apprectiate the vote of confidence, but that only applies when I'm specifically looking for something. I didn't even realize that auto-tractoring didn't work beyond a certain distance, so I never had a reason to look for an offending constant. However, knowing how much the Freelancer coders loved hardcoding things, I can't say I'm particularly surprised that there is a constant responsible.
