Just a thought: OpenSp with storyline

Hi, I've been looking through Chips' OpenSp Lite mod and had a thought...

Since the OpenSp Lite mod uses the m13.ini file to unlock all gates, is it possible to cram ALL of the storyline missions, triggers and all into one giant mission and paste all the code into m13.ini?

What I am after is to level without going through the storyline missions, but still be able to do the storyline whenever I want to.

Just a thought.

Its most likely possible, but it may cause bugs or something.

I'll give it a try tonight. I'll only be using the first two missions though.

The inherent problem with this plan is that FL does not really give a monkeys about the different ini files. you could cram all txt into one ini and as long as all the named files are there they can be blank The ini's are made seperate for us monkeys, not the program.

Ah ok, so its theoretically possible, but I think it hasn't been attempted yet, right? The only mod I've seen to come close to tweaking the mXX.ini files (besides changing loadouts and such) is 1001's Before FP7 mod.

Well, if the job proves to be too much then I'll just make my own open-ended storyline. Hehe, look at the possibilities - one can tweak FL in more ways with the mission INIs.
