Things that I don''t think would be do-able... but I just as

I wonder if it is possible to make the linear and angular_drag effect different in some zones. The drag effects slows/"despins" the ship by a percent of its present speed/rotation.

I wonder if ships in a zone could be dragged in a specific direction, like when I enter the zone I begin to float this direction along with the other ships in the zone and maybe the asteroids.

I wonder if zones and bases can move in space (not using mega mass projectiles).

I wonder if it is possible to have a main gravitation point in space calculated from the mass of the objects/ships/asteroids/wathever around which "wathever" might orbit and base its speed/rotation on.

I hope someone has some ideas.

I'm looking for the same thing too...

Mmmm... REAL blackholes, grav fields around planets, and intra-system ship ferries...

it is possible to make different drag/simulated-gravity zones and i'm incorporating it in my mod (plug) in nebulas and planet atmospheres - around planets when you are close to the burn-up zone you either A. slow down a lot or B. if you're in cruise you accelerate wildly as the drag reduction changes local cruising speeds

also located a little property to introduce random-inaccuracy to weapons, which is useful for making scattered-fire weapons
