Recompressing

When I use a de-compressed ini like files from the SDK, how do I re-compress it Or does this not need to be done?

Help would be apreciated.

How much do you know about Freelancer?

If your using SDK, there is no reason to compress the files. It works fine with out it. I once used Bini Q, but never recompressed either and the files still worked.

true you don't need to recompress, to my knowledge almost no modders do... But if the question is if it is possible, it is. Back in the day there was a program called "to bini" written by bwesterbaan that we used to recompress files. Why you would want to do that? Well once they're recompressed it's possible to lock them from bini to being able to uncompress them, ineffect making it harder for people to look at ur mods data (also could block datastorm). Other than that, no reason to recompress besides saving a couple kb of disk space.
