Best Gameplay Mod?

Ive pulled Freelancer off the shelf after a few years and have decided to play thru it again. I was wondering if I could get some opinions on which are the best gameplay mods. I'm using Monkey Universe right now, and it's alright but I was wondering if there was anything better out there. Thanks.

Best gameplay? 88 Flak is my pick. The AI is so hard, the battles so exciting, the balance so good. It's a really excellent mod.

to name his own mod as the "best" would mean that all others are not that good and i think it just would be a bad behaviour to do that

there is no "best" mod... not "best" for gameplay and not "best" for whatever else

if people want to know what is good then they better check the downloads page or they just try some of the mods... or they ask those that play those mods
but to say here "my mod is the best" is an absolute no-go in my eyes

Try Evolutions - its what I'm playing right now, and I tell you FL has never been so beautiful. Also, try the BigDaddy Storyline mod, but expect to get shot down a few, no, hundreds of times.
