Framerate limit

Hello does anyone know if there's a command for Freespace in a ini file or something that will let me set a maximum framerate (fps) I want to try setting it to around 45 - 50

are you sure that you mean freespace?
are you sure that this is the right community for you? (well if a FS community still exists ^^)

Hah oh yea I meant FreeLANCER, there we go. Yes i was wondering if there was an option in freelancer or if anyone knows about an Nvidia option or control panel that lets me set a constant frame rate.
Reason is I think the game gets too high frame rate in some areas and makes some stutters more noticeable, i'd like to set the Frame rate at like 45 - 55
I tried setting the "Advanced graphics" setting to 1.0 in the perf ini file and it helped quite a bit.

As for Freespace yes i noticed they released the game as free, i downloaded it but don't think there is a multiplayer meta server, so yea I guess its gone.
