is there a thn editor?

i was wondering if there is a thn editor and if not, how hard would it be to make one? as i don't know anything about program making, could someone make one as it would make everyone's life so much easier and save a lot of time and effort.

thank you.

No there isn't, I am sure it's pretty hard, I've only messed with THN for a very short time before getting bored of reading it. But I've heard there is a new system, weapon, ship editor, and THN editor, that is suppose to come out, but the last I've heard of it was a few months ago and the guy said he would release a beta soon, but again that was a few months ago. So I do not know what is the stats on it at all. Anywho, I've been waiting for that program to come out so I can try it out.
That's pretty much it.

There is a program that converts thn-files into lua-files which can be edited with the editor or notepad. It includes a manual I think.

You have no idea how much I wish there was a 3D thn editor as trying to make new exterior views for the Bar-rooms would be a hell of a lot easier than doing it with notepad. I wish I knew what 3D scripting prog DA used but knowing our luck it'll probably be a couple of grands worth of software.
There have been a couple of people talking about making a prog but as always it turns out to be vapour ware and those concerned disappear.

experience showed that DA used programs based on public codes

just take the characters... those are dfm files
dfm chars were used to create a chess program about 5 years ago... and if im not totally wring there was a program available called "DFM builder"

i think that there might be a good chance that such a program does exist for thn scripting... somewhere on the net

Well, I assume I'm one of those people since I did discuss producing one a little while ago, and I have produced one. It's certainly not perfect and there's a lot I'd like to do to improve it and add features, but the basics are there.

I've had very little time recently though and haven't managed to work on it much at all in the last month or so. I can release a public beta if people want to take a look and try it out though.

Accushot, that would be LOVELY. I could use one, even if it isn't perfect....
