NPC ships?

Hi everyone. I'm Corinthian-Blue, the "new guy" to Freelancer. I find the game really fun, but I just have one question: is there a mod where one can play as NPC ships like armored transports, freighters, gunboats, or stuff like that? Thanks in advance.

There are a ton of them. Look in the download section and use the search function. You will find one.
