You start a game and create a save, not an Auto save, but a regular save. Exit the game, If you have it already, open Ioncross Char editor. Click on the saved game file and it opens. You have several choices, from ships, engins, weps, system and soforth. You can even movey your ship to another base. Change your money level, rep with other groups like Bounty Hunters, xenos or any other.
