Well I guess I am a litterbug on Freelancer's enviroment, I am sure it can take one more hit for man kind.

Anyway the point is, that for some people who do not use a cracked EXE file in their mod, you can't sell your engine at the dealer. So the only way is to eject the extra one in space.
For other people who pick it up and waste their time trying to figure out if it is worth something, well that's their problem. Maybe the engine they pick up can be used to upgrade their ship.
Also you got to remember ther are people who like to destory loot, so you'll also have the share of clean up bugs to clean up the mess of the litter.

But it will go away after sometime and that's the end of the poor engine.

you mean the release from alcacander?

but you know that it has a heavy bug that allows ppl to cheat?

His engine sell patch isn't the only one that's buggy, I'm having to redo a large chunk of my mod so I can get rid of the variable cruise speed hack. It works fine in game but it either freezes my PC or the exe keeps running whenever I quit the game.
