Character Textures... Are they changable?

Hi everyone,

I am not terribly happy with the existent textures for the character models, and I was wondering if it is possible to change them. I have looked for likely *.mat files that could be used with the information from Kasdan's Overhaul Guide for re-texturing ships and such, but I didn't find one that seemed right.

Is there a *.mat file somewhere I can use, if so, which one, and if not is there anything else I can do?

Thanks for any help, and sorry if this has been answered, but I didn't see any posts that seemed relevant when I searched for "character texture". If this HAS already been answered, feel free to link to the information rather than repeat it.

Thanks again,
Drake

the materials are embedded in the .dfm is why-
heres an important note for retexturing them:RENAME ALL MATERIAL REFERENCES!
why:so your character doesn't swap textures with a stock version
how:rename the materials and their dt_names as well as texture names, then open the Multilevel node and find the meshes, under each mesh you'll find groups with material names that need to be renamed too - grr i dunno why they couldn't or wouldn't make CMP's work the same way
