That is FLMM scripting to do that, you can't put it into an ini file and it will work...

You'll need to read up on that area - been a LONG time since I used FLMM scripting - about 2 years almost!

As for programs, FLED-IDS is the simplest and best one out there - downloads section (use search box top right main page - type in FLED and see what it pulls up in the downloads (2nd of the two searched areas)

Also search for Tutorial, although you may find it under FLED as well - which is a tutorial upon how to use FLED.

Hi,

I have a similar issue. I have to specifically edit the infocards for Ruiz and Leon bases because in the mod myself, ww2jacob and flybyu are creating, we're going to change the ownership of those two bases to a different faction and so I have to fill in the back story by changing the infocard. The problem is that the FLED-ID editor cannot find 'Ruiz' anywhere in the DLL list and believe me, I've looked.

Even looking in the INI for, say, EW02.ini does not help since the ID code for that just pulls up the base type and population, which is what you see when you click on a base before you land on it for the first time. I can locate the "An Outcast Base..." generic junk that shows up when I reference the ID code (65something) on a search for "Outcast base".

As you can imagine this should be a simple job and it's not. Help?

I'd laugh but I had to get Chip's help for this a while back.

Data\Interface\InfocardMap.ini

In here you'll find a pile of these.

Map = 65537, 65538

The first number is the base stats the second is the story part.

Bejaymac, I believe you mean Chips's

P.S. - That's what part of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were removed.

The maps is of some help but the base number alone doesn't really give me much information. How do I cross-reference it with the actual base/planet name?

@ Konn I seen your question on TLR about IDS info for those bases. Sorry to say but there is only one entry for all outcast bases, and corsair bases, the only thing that gets a different card is the planets Malta, and Crete. Here is the number for outcast 65804, and the one for corsairs 65808. You will have to make brand new numbers and apply them to the bases in question. How to do that I don't know. Maybe someone on TLR will know.

It is in the infocardmap.ini

They're actually duplicated, so I was able to work out which base was which. Frustrating, though!
