That darn FLE.(FREELANCER EXPLORER)

Ok I've really jsut started making weapons and tryed using a new DLL. , but that didn't work so I used the same dll. as what FLE uses. I've got a lot of questions and want to ask them before I move on in my mod.
1. I made a new system and FLE made a new DLL out side of the exe, the frist dll that has all the names to the weapons and other systems is in the dll and works fine.. I tryed out the game and the new system name doesn't show up.
Is there anyway to get FLE to write the data down in the DLL. in the EXE file?
2. Ok after messing around and replacing the dll in the exe file out side of the exe file and having FLE use the file , the new system's name shows up, but the new weapon names seem to have been moved, I had to remake them but not the data for the weapons.
Does FLE Write over data that is already there in the dll. EX( I typed 450 in FL-ids and I got the number.....543959, in the dll FLE hasn't gotten to that yet so when it does will it write ovewr the data?
I'll think of more question because this whole thing gots my head hurting.

I'll look in the forums and see what to do, but was wondering if someone knows how to get FLE to use the dll. in the EXE file without having to mess with anything.

I'm assuming you mean the EXE folder , and no there isn't, but there also isn't a problem with this. Just let it put the dll where it wants and don't touch it. The game will run fine.

You mean put the DLL that it was using back where it was? Ok
But should I try to make a new dll. for the weapon data, or will that stay where it is, becuase I already messed with the FReelancer.ini and put the dll name in it.
So FL-ids will still read the my_mod.dll from the outside of the exe file?

Ok I moved the dll. outside of the EXE file and removed the name of the dll from freelancer.ini. The names of all the systems won't show if I add the name of the dll in FL.ini. But what gots me confused is that the weapon's names/data don't show.
Should I try to make a new dll. for the weapon data?

oh my oh my, you messed with FL.ini? You see, you shouldn't be doing that just to get FL to read your ini. Just use FLE, and let it mess with the dlls. It works for me, and you don't need to screw it up

Well I looked at the forums ,(and I am jsut starting to learn how to mess with FL-ids and making names for the weapons.) and it told me to mess with that file.
DLL = my_mod.dll ;
lol so I shouldn't mess with this? or should I make a new dll. with the weapon data?
Because now I am confused. Not too much to not know what to do.

You need two copies of your dll, one outside the EXE for FLE and one inside the EXE for Freelancer. This is one of FLE's problems as it puts that dll in the wrong place and wthen when you move it the damned program can't find it.

Ok so the names of the systems and my weapons will show up after I make a copy in both spots?

Ok I added a copy and FLE now shows the names.
I added to FL.ini,
DLL = my_mod.dll ;
and nothing is mixed up.
Ok I did this in a back up becuase I thought my work was ruin but I'll bring it back up and do the same and see if it works, but thanks a lot for the help, this really clears a lot of things up.

ok u need 2 dlls,

keep the FLE one outside of EXE folder and the one to add custom things in the EXE folder,

then i think u have to arrande them, so example my_mod1.dll has to come before my_mod2.dll IN FREELANCER.INI!!! (if FLE is using my_mod2.dll

meh!
