Speed meter

I've increased the actual speed to 500, but the the speed meter shows it as 300, and that looks unrealistic to me. Is there a way to edit it?

It's hard coded in the exe. Check out Alcander's threads in this forum for more info.

Yes, he does talk about editing EXE and DLL files, but I didn't see any solutions to the problem. Maybe because there aren't any? =/

By editing the exe you can show true speed ie. 2500 in tradelanes and whatever speed you set cruise at. But you need an unwrapped exe (which is illegal and frowned upon by this site) and a hex editor. The instructions are in one of the threads.
