Hiding patrolpaths?

I wondered if it was possible to hide patrol paths on the nav map as the ones I make are linking to a pirate base but I don't want it to be that easy to find the base!

I already tried to put visit = 128 to the zones but that didn't work. If anyone has any idea.

Btw another less important question : Where are the News images are stocked? I would like to use screenshots of my system to replace let's say Manhattan Cityscape....

Remove these lines:

usage = patrol
usage = trade

Both are what turn it white. Make a huge zone, and plonk "usage = patrol" - and you get a massive white zone.

I am going from memory here, from what is over 1 year old in memory as well

Hi FriendlyFire!

The News images can be found in Data/Interface/Neuronet/Newsvendor/newsvendor.txm. You can easily add new news images or replace old ones. I already did this in The Monkeys Mod and it worked perfectly. Just open the txm with UTF-Editor and add a new node under Texture library (where all the other news are).
One of my entries for example is 'news_battleship_osiris'. Then under this node add another node named MIP0 and import your picture in this node (remember that it has to be in tga format).

For the patrol and trade paths I don't know an answer, as I left all of mine visible, sorry.

Hope this helps!

This may not be your problem, but just in case. Patrol paths, like any map item are written into you character file, once you've seen it making it invisible afterwards will make no difference, its already written to your character. So if youre using an old character for testing theyre going to show up anyway. Create a new character and then check that they are not visible with Chips's info. havent tried making patrols invisible myself, interesting idea tho
