Discovery mod - help needed
I've recently posted my mod to TLR and I've got a server running with this mod installed, still I need some help to continue my work on it. I did post a similar thread in the Beginners forum about a month ago, but then I didn't get the answers I was expecting, and, besides, I found out lots of new things during this month.

The aim of this mod is to add new features to the game, like battleship encounters and most original FL ships flyable (capships etc), and not spoil the overall balance. It also makes all ships more expensive to make char development more difficult. And several minor changes.
So far I've got enough positive feedback on this mod to continue its development and retain the original concept - not adding too many new things. However there are several problems that I cannot solve myself, so I'm requesting help.
First of all there are several original ships that I was not able to make flyable. These are:
Kusari battleship (atmosphere damage while launching from planets, it either explodes or more than 80% of hull is removed)
Rheinland battleship (crash)
Train (crash)
Other ships that I wanted to include but did not yet, because I read on the forums that there might be problems with them...
Nomad ships
Luxury liner
I've seen mods that have all those ships included, so maybe there's some info about how to fix those ships and make them normally flyable.
And one more thing - is it possible to make new weapons for capships? They've all got special models I think, much larger than normal weapons. Or maybe it's better to care more about the initial weapon loadout so that player could get all suitable guns when buying the ship?
