Removing the auto-level

I was wondering if there were a way to remove the auto-level from freelancer. That way you could fly upside down without it leveling you out.

See Aegir's enhanced keyset mod.although there are actually two autolevels,one is for the camera the other is for your ship and both have to be disabled to roll correctly(which is another unlocked key). Maybe Alcander will take a look at the autolevel & see if he can't make it less annoying.(although it is necessary for easy navigation,i think.maybe you could do without it afterall)

The only reason that I wated this was because I wanted a more real fealing for freelancer. I just feal that if you are in space, thare isn't going to be a level, as we aren't level in space right now, and will never know what is level (do to the lack of gravity, everyones up and down, left and right, are diferent) in space.

There already is an autolevel function in the game. Just scroll through the list of key assignments and assign one to Auto Level. Thing is, when you get back into space after docking / dying, you have to press it again.

I know there's already the auto level there, but that doesn't turn it off. That's why I just wanted it removed.

Well, what I would want is that the camera is fixed or follows the rotation slowly like it does now, but doesn't auto level, but continues to follow the ship as it rolls. I can get the ship to roll if I hit something just the right way and it works great, but I would like to stay at the rotation that I set.

Maybe it's in the exe.

@AluminumHaste
That was one thing that I was aiming for. If you could do that, I would be greatful.
