Questions... Looking into modding FL

I have several Questions about moding FL:

1: How would i go about removing systems.. and editing the Riendland and liberty systems. Meaning Editing base and planet locations.. I do not want to use tradelanes.

2: How do i go about editing players starting factions. Basicly changin certian factions to good/bad.

3: What do i need to edit to add and change random encounter paths and routes.

4:Is it possable to add a Certian TAG to a players name when they join the server?

Well so far im just looking into how hard this will be... and how much time will this take. I would like to have a team for this mod. But for now this is just an inquiry. MY mod idea is to have a more of a combined arms, and to make team play better. Any have a good PVP system. I have all the tools to host a new mod for FL. I work for an isp and get freebandwith and i have my own server in our NOC with full access. If your interested.. and want more info please e-mail me.

check the editing tutorials subtopic. There is a thread call compilation there that contains links to answers to most of the questions you asked.
