AI frighters

I was wondering if there is a way to edit somehow the freighter (for ex. the Gateway's freighter) The huge ones that "request to moor". If someone could help me or give me idias how to do that >>>>runs the demo verson<<<<<< I would appreciate that.

edit in what way? so you can fly them? so they're weaker? so they're stronger? so they're rhinos? or what?

please be specific.

I wanted to be able to fly them >>was my first intention<<< but if no body knows how to do that, my second plan was "be able to get them to folow u" or the other AI craft to follow like wingmen" just for the heck of it LOL

Actually, your former idea is more viable then the second (the only way to do the second one, as far as I am aware, is with a SP mission, and that is complex). However, being able to fly them can be done. Have a look through the Tutorials section, there are a couple of tutorials about a) creating custom player ships and b) turning npc ships in Freelancer into flyable player ships.

OK. Thats a good idia but what i was worried about was can i do it with the >>DEMO<< thats what i am using .(will eventualy get FL ) Is there a way using the BINIQ text editer.and is there a way to add ships into the DEMO "Thanks"
