Nomad Harvester
I just thought of something pretty interesting, and a neat concept to get it to work. Nomad ships are supposedly grown, right? So what if we created a nomad base that basically grows nomad ships?
My idea is a big lump of green/blue/whatever rock with several deep holes in different spots, with all sorts of flashy purple stuff inside em. Out of those holes everynow and then, a nomad will be grown, and will fly out, ready to do whatever.
Now, i've figured out a doable way: Make the base .3ds/.sur, then make the docking points the holes. By putting HpFx's inside the holes, effects of all sorts can be made inside. And, simple make a nomad encounter zone, and so they basically undock, and leave, coming out of the holes.
I can do all of that except the CMP editing (still not sure how), the skinning and the transfer to Milkshape. I can model the .3ds out of FormZ however, and do the .ini stuff.
