Multiplayer starting changes
I've been thinking. So far i've seen little mentioned about server and multiplayer changes. Not that i would want to make the starter have a titan with infinite stuff or anything, i just want to change a few things so that people can only fall under 2 or 3 groups. See me idea is that to make my server be complied of only three 'factions' if you will. One will be composed of those who only have titans, (Lets say Red group) and one with only pilot sabres (Blue faction for example). The third group will be mine and other co admins/ moderators, who will be piloting modded Anubi (plural sp?). The whole idea of the server is to have only these two clans plus my ruler/ peacekeeper clan. NO INFINITE ITEMS. i will not tolerate any modified sabres or titans and onyl the admin(s) may have the altered Anubis. But you see i've only just began modding and have to clue as to how make the starter ships a sabre or titan. I was thinking about making all the bases in the universe sell only these two ships, and only the desired guns but how can i make the packages not be interchangable? i have no prob with people hunting wrecks. How do i make the starting budget more than it is? and how can i solve other similar things? I know that there are already threads and posts about changing these things for single player, but will it still be the same for multi player?? i'm running the standard version of FL, no patches. Any input is mroe than welcome
