Fight Battleship in Random Missions

im sick of just fighting weak fighters in non-mode freelancer, but i don't like rebalance because of there are so many additions that confuses me.

so i downloaded the earliest rebalance (v2.01) that has got battleship random missions in it and trys to use its file to make a mod of my own. but after copying the "RANDOM MISSION" and "ENCOUNTER" folder to the coorsponding places, i coun't get it to work?!?! what am i missing?
or better yet, can anyone make a small mod that adds kill battleship as a random mission type?

btw, i've never moded anything before........ (well i've tryed to mod one or two games and failed )

most likely the faction_props.ini file, the npcships.ini file and all the loadout*.ini files. Not quite all the loadout files are needed, but which one depend on what ships your adding encounters for.

may i suggest Evolutions mod? or (i haven't really tried this)...but i assume that the unnoficial patch would have battleship encounters, as patrols now have cruisers and battleships.

ok, i'll test that out when i got home.

im downloading Evo mod, and the unoffile patch you mean that 1.4 one? ok, i'll test that out aswell..... battleship encounters are easy to get, it's even encluded in the FLMM, just the random mission is boring, so im trying to make it more exiciting.

i don't like the evo mod for some reason..... i can't remember....

there's no killbattleship RM in patch1.4
