Appending Scritp.

I've been creating a mod, it's full compatible with mp and sp but I can't get it to be "optional" with my server. I've noticed many mods have a "section append" area in the mod's script. Could this help me? I would like to make it optional. I've added 2 systems, and edited ships and weapons. Does anyone know how I can fix this.

Mods are either "on" or "off". You cannot make them optional, so far as I am aware- if the server's running it, then it's running it... client settings don't matter, for things like Systems.

Now, if you're wanting a script that offers options as to what is on or off... on the server side... yes, that can be done. But... and here I'll be frank... if the server has things running on it that don't exist on the client side, then the clients are likely to crash

I think the guy is asking how do you include the options in the script so that the user can choose which part of the mod to install.

Sorry I cant help, i dont use XML other than for ids info input.

Ok, well thanks for the help, I'll contact the person on my own. The reason I wanted to mod my server is because I spent time on a server that had more than one system added to the game, and it was "optional", I'll try what I can.
