Editing ship/player stats

I remember quite a while back someone posting about figuring out how to edit the ship/player stats such as the hours online, the amount of kills, etc....
I have been searching for that info and have been unable to find it. Can anyone please either tell me how it is done or point me to the post.

This is the Freelancer Save Editor which should do everything perfectly

It decrypts .fl files and can then re-encode these. It should be what you need.
