Explosions and equipment blowing off

Now I got serious trouble.

Here are the necessary stats of a missile's damage:
[Explosion
nickname = missile_xy__explosion
effect = br_mine01_blast25
lifetime = 0.100000, 0.200000
process = disappear
strength = 1
radius = 15
hull_damage = 5000
energy_damage = 1
impulse = 0

and here the settings for a weapon (made during testing, the values are not mean tofr real actually):
hit_pts = 25000
explosion_resistance = 1000.000000
toughness = 40000

Even with those ridiculously high looking settings on the gun, one hit of one of those missiles will strip me of all those guns, even at those high settings.

What's the solution? Explosion resistances of a million didn't help, although I thought that variable would be some sort of hitpoint modifier vs missile explosion???

Try using a smaller explosion resistance, I'm not sure about this but that value may act as a damage multiplier rather than a hitpoint multiplier.

Yeah Furious thanks! It worked.

Funny thing, the name suggest the complete opposite, I had never thought of that.
