Mercenarys?

Would it be possible to create 'mercenarys' in Freelancer? As in, you go to a base and pay some money to have some guys flying around with you?

Because that would be so cool...

As Chips said it is impossible.

Well... Maybe it could with some scripting but in SP only. And would again be hard. You could take a look at some SP missions where Juni follows Trent. THen making it a Mer that wants money to help you. But I think this would be alot of work and the result may only be available once. Meaning the Mercenary would disappear after you used him once.
