Using nanobots and batteries

I wonder if there's any way to prevent ships in modded game of using nanobots and\or shield batteries. My mod is Evolutions, last version. Is there any simple way to do this?

What I want is to make the game less difficult, for example let enemy ships use batteries but never nanobots. Or, if possible, enable using nanobots only for very weak (starflier) and very powerful ships.

Change loadouts.ini.

The file describes what NPCs have equipped and in their cargo. Delete the line that adds bot cargo to a loadout, and that ship wont ever use bots again.
