Klingon minimod by Wrath of Achiles- i need some help

Problem- i try to activate it using FLMM v1.31 and it says that it wont activate. it says "Error: Unable to find dest 'archetype = ge_fighter'(...) in 'E:\Freelancer\data\SHIPS\loadouts.ini" i reinstalled freelencer several times, and manually copied over the files from the disk. Whats happening here?

hey dude,

im afraid i never learned this new fangled xml stuff but if i had to guess id say that when it says "unable to find" you have made a typo in the destination text somewhere.

if you need to test remember you can always just back up then edit the file manually

once youve made sure the rest of the script is working you tend to be more relaxed when debugging these little niggles i find.

i didnt edit the text, it just dosent work. like i said, it says it cant find it. if i could find Wrath of Achilles's email, maybe i could ask him

Ok, here comes the basic. Download and install SDK 1.3 It is a complete decoded data file for freelancer. The reinstall the mod and activate. The SDK replaces any missing files like the one you get in the error.

check the mod help forum to see if theres bin any other questions about it maybe? (we do still have a mod help forum dont we?

i'll go look in a bit )

only other thing i can think of if the sdk and forum dont help is doublecheck the install path - frankly im reaching here

will need to have a look at that mod too - sounds intresting

I get this prob all the time nut you need to check the following:

1. <pre><font size=1 face=Courier><data file="data\ships\loadouts.ini" method="sectionreplace"> </font></pre> ?????

2. section

3. nickname

4. look hard and long B-)
