Trophy hunters?

i`ve has a bit of an idea, just recently and well its a pretty good one. Ok, so say you have desructable universe and battleship encounters on your mod.. Would it be possible to add to their loadouts a token or medal so that if you kill a nomad battleship you get a "Nomad Battleship killer" token. This would take the form of say a shield gen which offers no other advantage. The tokens themselves could be added on top of themselves (like ammo) so that when your ship is scanned you have a history of the major enemies that you have beaten.
You could also add, "Pirate Base killer" or "millitary/police base killer".. The only prob though is can you mount new equipment internally? And, if you can (don`t think so), how could you re-transfer it when changing ships? It would need to be mounted on to hard points which would limit the amount of token slots available but what`cha think? Worth a go?

Dunnit! I went for creating a commodity which has no volume in the end as its about 10 times easier.. All of me cap ships have tokens attached and I just need to modify the loot props so that they drop every time. I`ve gone for giving them a basic of Battleship 1000 (max x 10), Mill base 2500 (max x 10), police 2250 (max x 10), Pirate base (max x 10 again too).
Now is there anyway of gaining tokens in multi player? Maybe by putting on the initial loadout and as a part of the package you buy with a ship. How could I make it so that its fixed to the ship, but drops when the ship is blowed up? The player wouldn`t be allowed to sell his/her own token.
Well i`m not doing MP yet so I`ll cross that when I get to it.

The next variation is that the pirate bases are put into categories bronze, silver and gold. With different amounts for each, and withseparate enties for tripoli, corsair general, outcast general, kyoto..
This means that a bounty hunter/merc could use a combat craft (which in my mod has reduced cargo space) and still get a decent income. They could either keep the trophy or sell it to their enemies. Tripoli would be worth around 80,000 to the outcasts or red hessians but only 4000 to the liberty rogues for example..
