Mod startup interface?

Does anyone know how to create the startup interface that is seen on Chips`s mods? I`ve created separate m13.ini files for setting starting location and would like to put all of the information into the mods release rather than release separate OpensP files. I`m totally noob to scripting so you may have to talk slowly and point at things quite a bit.. Thanks.

I do not understand what your asking - try reading that and then telling me if you do!!

Which mod - there are alot - this will help it narrow down to what your trying to do as well - cause at first i thought you meant the screens when you load FL up!! (as in the intro thn files - the moving background etc).

What exactly do you mean? You will have to specify it for the most detailed way - as right now i don't understand!

Chips, it sound like he wants to do what you set up, where you choose the money, location encounters,bots and bats and the planet to start on you set up in a mod, forget the name, and once you choose all of the items, the game starts.

Oh, sorry I just mean the Chips OpenSP type interface which kicks in once you add the mod. It would need to select the starting location from a series of m13.ini files. I don`t plan on making too many choices just the starting locations and loadouts. I don`t know the first thing about creating this its just an idea.. Cheers if you can help.

Fraid its me bed time at the moment - had a blinding night out!! I will post "how to" tomorrow!. Needless to say, using FLMM to activate - we can ensure that you only have 1 M13.ini file in the mod - the rest is done by scripting. Same for choice of ships etc at startup - we can change alot in scripting - and all with those lovely options!

Someone else may post before then - if they do, I will be grateful - but otherwise - 20hrs or so i will post a tut on scripting with options for this sorta stuff.


Now i gotta sleep...............too much beer
