Changing FL''s interface

Hi there !
First here is a screenshoot.

As you can see, i managed to change the interface color, but there are still things that I can't seem to mod (like : smalls icons, texts, etc).

If i extract the MAT file that contains the icons, for example, they are in gray scale (=no colors).
There are no "Dc" node with it, so I thought it is hardcoded (god knows how much I hate this word )...

Also, even changing text color in the rich_font.ini file, some of them still show blue...
Hardcoded too ?

And there is a last problem : the navmap window isn't affected by my modifications... Though I may have done a mistake (possibly missed one file) !

Thats all : every thing else works perfectly (mouse, windows, etc).

So, if someone managed to fix some problems, please tell me !

cool, i like "minor changes" like that (i like graphics too)
but there .. i did only look around once .. and have noticed the grey pics as well ..

but can`t help, sorry .. hope you`ll find out tho

i hate hardcoded stuff too, lol

Even if you don't know how to solve it, you said it.
Maybe it's impossible to do... (I've spent hours on it).

In top of that : I'm not good at all in hardcoded editing (like using hexadecimal editor or decrypting files). So I need help on that mod, and especialy help from "decrypters" (forgive me if it's not well written...).

(again, forgive my soooo bad english)

EDIT : If someone is interested, I can write a little tutorial on "how to change FL's interface" (even if there are still missing parts).
Please let me know.

I would like to know how. Blue gets annoying after awhile. occasionally want some red or green

ATTENTION

i found the colour ones....

there are to versions a grey and a colour

the non grey's are

formation
freeflight
goto
dock

for eg. "mnvr_formation.3db"
ect

and the grey one's have the _grey on the end just need to find the other colours..

also

buttontextures.txm

contains a big mob of the graphics not in colour though

also i found the .cmp file's had these blue square's i was wondering if the would help maybe the grey are "put over" with transperenty hope it worth anything..

Hi NightHound !

You know, i managed to change the cursor color, no prob with this.
But there don't seem to be an issue to the rest of the problems...

So, for Aravis, to change the color of the menus, just open a file of the above list of files with UTFEditor. You'll see in the most part of it nodes called :

To change the color, juste extract them and open it with Photoshop.
Then, change the Hue to whatever ou want.

This is the most hard (and boring part of this tut).

Man ther's alot of photoshop stuff maybe it should be a mod or somthing....

You know, it's a lot of work : I've already been able to make it yellow (in about one or two complete days of work !!!). I'll make it green and purple, but later : I'm now studying at college and I don't realy have much time to spend on modding... But I think I'll do it... sometime !
