Syntax for putting comments in ini files?

Is there a way that I can add comment to my ini files? It would be nice if I could mark what each section pertains to.

Well on some things (like bases) you can add that line :
comment = What Ever

but in most situations, adding a ";" at the end of the line and then adding comments should work everywhere.

Correct me if I'm wrong plz.

Adding the ; tells the program to ignore what is put in after it. Some Mods are set up this way and all you ave to do is remove the ; There may be a tuteral on this as well, check the stickies.
