What''s wrong with this faction?

I created a patrol for a new faction from Manhatten to Newark Station. I can launch easily: but then I just sit there for hours, with none of the new ships appearing. I checked the code (created by the team's faction editor) myself, and in the NPCShips ini file I copied the details from other ships exactly.

Now, I do have one possible clue. In empathy.ini it appears he didn't put si_mi_grp at the bottom of every other faction. Would this stop the ships from appearing? Is it supposed to be in every other faction's coding in empathy.ini ?
If it is supposed to be there, wouldnt this make the game crash? Or just prevent the appearance of ships?

few changes were made also in shiparch and various equipment inis, but they shouldn't have effect on it

but above you have set the npcships ranging from difficulty 12-19 ..


also, i noticed the gdi_bomber is not added to faction_prop.ini

The patrol route works fine I think. If I were to put a different faction on it it would work fine: I think it's just this new faction.

Interesting that Rheinland Bomber, which is added for Military spawns within area_defend clusters, and it has same difficulty entry. However, my custom faction still doesn't show up, even in the reputation list.

On your NPCship file you have the bomber classed as "class_bomber" if you just class it as a "class_fighter" it will pop normally. unless u have added to missions/encounters/...
You would also need to define the class bombe in the ship-classes file. It would be easiest just call it a bomber it won`t behave any differently.

Zack you do need to add an entry for each new system on every other faction, it is a bit of a pain but it won`t work properly otherwise.
