CMP importer not working??

I recently downloaded MS 1.7.1 on my new computer and I've found that it crashes when the CMP Importer is installed. I've tried both versions of it (search importer on the main TLR page) and they both crash. Running XP SP1, with enough of everything to run anything I want so it can't be a resource issue either. Any ideas?

Yes, use the modellers forum - where they actually have had 3 threads about this now.........
