Advance Beam Weapon Mod trouble

Hello. I am at the part of the game where
*SPOILERS*

Tobias to me to purchase a new ship. However, my Advanced Beam weapon and Uber Shield will not mount. What should I do? Thank you.

Check the level of the mount to see if they are the same as the wep and shield. The shield is usually level 10. You can still use it if you use Ioncross Char. Editer to re add it. The beam mod, may be a higher level than your mounts. Check and see.
