Ok people need some assitance

I am trying to create an IN system Jumpgate, i use FLE to create it but it doesn't work
To avoid confusion I'll say jumpgate 1 and Jumpgate 2

Problem 1. You target Jumpgate 1, use Go To and Dock commands on it , it seems to work fine, however when you try to target, goto or dock at Jumpgate 2 it targets, goto, docks at Jumpgate 1.

Problem 2. when you jump, from Jumpgate 1, you come back through Jumpgate 1, in other words U-Turn. You can't even try to Jump through Jumpgate 2.


I know that you can create an IN system Jumpgate I've seen it done in

"solsystembeta" Mod.

The objects are probs called (if in manhatten for example)

Li01_to_Li01

If BOTH have that name, when you select one, you get both, when you dock it will cock up, and the goto line will say

goto = li01, Li01_to_Li01
That means itself
You will need to manually edit to say:

Li01a_to_Li01b
Goto = Li01, Li01b_to_Li01a

You will need to do this manually.
Of course - THIS jumphole already exists in Li01 due to the storyline - so if its in manhatten - use another name (like c and d), but if in Li02 or any other system, it wll be fine

excuse this but. but why in hell would u want a insystem JG?? i meant tehre was this one time when i put 2 JGS 3m apart for laughs but i dont see why insystem jg just use JH it works better

first off the, suggestion of distinguishing the two gates worked. thanx

second, I'm making a Star Fox Mod, and in the lylat system in SF64, there is Spatial distitorsion from meteo to Katina I.e. Jumphole and in Sector X to Y there is a experimental Warpgate I.e. Jumpgate.

You may want an in system jump gate if you had a large system. Trade lanes may be a little tedious in a large system, for some people.
