Help! Please... Hardpoint issue

I'm doing my first ship mod, and I'm stuck. The hardpoints wont come on. I've read every page of Drizzt's tutorial, but Milkshape keep complaining about selecting exatcly three verticals. First I do that, and then after a while it starts to complain again.

I'm at the stage of giving up. It would be great if someone could finish it for me...(maybe asking for too much).

Plz?

get this (retry if it doesnt work)
i made it a long time ago and havent used it since then, so better doublecheck it (hardpoint names - look for unnessessary blanks and stuff)

you can merge this with ur ship, move the hardpoints to the positions, duplicate and rename the ones that u need more often (HpWeaponXX for example).
i am not sure if i covered all existing ones in there but it has all u need to make a ship work.

hope this helped,
Fjord

Thanks alot, again!!!

I think I'll be albe to do it now, but one more question;
What is the Hp for cockpit?

Post Fri Jul 16, 2004 9:10 am

HpPilot is the little cockpit placeable person - so:
Hp/Fixed/HpPilot

There isn't a "cockpit" Hardpoint, the inside cockpit view is a seperate model altogether, one that they don't seem to have quite cracked yet.

Thanks

Now I've reached the point where I'm exporting the file. The .cmp wasn't so bad, but the .mat was worse, alot worse. I used the automized mat exporter by Collin Sanby. the problem is that when I import the .tga files, there is no way of stopping, so I have to press cancel, and then when the window is opened, it seems right, but when exported the file is only 3kb!

I'm not familiar with .mat files, but it dosent take more than me and my brain to figure out that there is something wrong.
