Hey, chips, i was reading the posts and you were talkin about a tutorial to edit the version of the exe files.

I read the tutorial which sounds like the easiest thing in the world. But, i cant find the tool that was listed there to edit the exe. i used the search, and still couldn't find it

can u give me a link to the download?

I thought editting the EXE is out of our reach, or rather, against the law?

As far as I know, Microsoft allowed us that we are editing the exe to change the version number.

A little searching is necessary. If its not in the thread that has it all (so it claims) then there is a thread by Baked potato called "mod tools submitted by Trent and Juni" i think it is. Baked lists all the stuff you'll need - which musta taken days - and includes links to non hosted stuff like Reshack, Heaven tools etc etc.
