Yes and no.

You can change the looks of Trent into a female character, but not the actual voice. After all, Trent has a lot of special audio files and these files aren't recorded with a different voice. Just Trent's.

So you can end up with someone that has the same clothes as for example Juni with a different head, but you won't be able to change the voice. I don't know if your wife finds that situation appealing enough to change the character.

Correction... You CAN change the audio, but it will take time. If your wife made a mod with mod manager that had all of trent's lines in it, than all she would have to do is record herself saying the same line as one of the trent files. Then replace that file with the same name. Then she could have her own voice in the place of trent's. Problem: This could take forever, because I was going to change all the voices once and realized that there were about... well, alot of trent files. Take maybe two or three hours to change them all over. Maybe... There arent as many as you would think. But never the less, it is quite simple. If i want to change a voice, just make the recording on your computer, then save it as a .WAV file with the same name as the trent line that your replacing.

oh yeah, and one more option. If you get a voice morphing program than you can just turn those trent audio files into a female's voice... but those are pretty expensive depending on the quality...

If you do this, than please send me the new audio files. I think I may make a mod just for the female players cause I'm always hearing something or another that female players once for the game, so i guess we should give them what they want... Don't wanna get hurt... - JK

Starseeker is right Cain, you can change the audio files. I realized it after I posted my reply. But as he already said. It will take quite some time to change all audio files into new ones with a female voice on it.

Look in this directory for Trent's audio files:

Data\Audio\Dialoge\Trent
and
Data\Audio\Mixes

The Mixes directory is a pain. Not every file has Trent's voice on it, but many do.The files in the mixes directory usually contain more voices than just Trent's and some background noise as well. (Basically they are the audio files of several video sequences in the single player story mode)

It's a long shot, but if you have a voice morphing program like Starseeker said, it should be a bit easier, but it will take quite some time to alter everything.
