Problem with ship textures

Something went terribly wrong! I hade left the modding for
a while to take a break. Then I ended up having to reinstall
windows XP. Now that I am back to modding I can't get my
textures to show up on my new ship! The server dose not
crash nor dose the game. I can take my ship into space and
do what ever I like. But I just can not see it except the guns
and things! Not sure what is wrong. Here is what I have for

I have looked in the forums and did not find much. What post i did
find delt with the server or the game crashing or lod ranges. I checked
my mat file and can't find any thing wrong with it eather. maybe some
one else can spot the problem. Have been trying to figure this out for
weeks now.

if you can buy and fly the ship fine and it's not an lod or wrong path given then the probs not gonna be in the ini's, but in your mat.

as a reminder, you CANNOT use 32 bit textures in Freelancer...They will cause your ship to be invisible...use 24 bit or less...

Checked that as well because some where in the forums I came across the same thing about textures can only be 24 bit or less. But just to be sure I went back and checked my textues again. Resaved them in 24 bit and imported them into the mat file and got no joy!

I think there is a tutorial for textures by Harrier. Dunno if you have seen it, but maybe walking through his part there on how to do it, as well as Drizzlas ship makeing tutorial MIGHT give you some joy joy....

Thanks Chips! But have tried them both. "I'm doomed I tell you, Doomed I say!" Maybe got a bad install with windows who knows. Wiping my system and reinstalling windows is my last option. Thanks for all your help!
